Palanga International Airport, Lithuania's second airport is located close to the beautiful resort town of Palanga on the Baltic Sea coast. It is the fourth largest airport in all of Europe and serves mid and short distance transcontinental flights to several destinations in Europe. The airport is also the destination of the largest military base in Europe.

This large commercial airport was originally constructed as a terminal for charter flights and has since grown into an international destination for transcontinental and intraregional flights. The airport is named after the local town which it serves. It is also one of the only airports in Lithuania that offers direct services to Vilnius and Tallinn, while international flights are provided by a number of international carriers operating from Frankfurt and Brussels. As of now, this airport is not equipped with a baggage carousel, but will be in the near future.

Once you arrive at the Palanga airport, you will be directed to one of two terminals. The terminal closest to the harbor, known as the A terminal, is equipped with all the basic facilities, including passport, check in, boarding gate, and the baggage carousel.

The second terminal is known as the B terminal and is much larger than the A terminal. The terminal is directly adjacent to the beach. Once you have reached your baggage carousel, the staff will begin loading your bags onto your carousel. Once your luggage is ready, you can continue walking down the ramp and reach the main terminal.

The Palanga airport is served by several international airlines and is one of the most popular airports in all of Lithuania.
